During the BIP in May 2024 in Crete, I collaborated with students from across Europe. We spent a semester working online before the trip, preparing for the intensive week of teamwork on-site. The project emphasized collaboration, innovation, and intercultural learning, giving me valuable experience working in diverse teams on challenging assignments.
B-SaFFeR was a research project in Uganda focused on predicting flash floods. I helped collect sensor data on environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and rainfall. These data were used to train an AI model capable of predicting floods in real-time, demonstrating the power of combining IoT and AI for real-world problem solving.
